HENRYS WRITING STYLEIn the history of American literature, O. Henry is one of the most celebrated and well-known writers. He has an intense writing style. His writing is full of paronomasia (双关), irony (讽刺), metaphor (隐喻), exaggeration (夸张), and metonymy (转喻), that make his stories humoristic and funny. His endings are surprising and design the plot of his stories dramatically. The endings of his stories are quite unexpected for the readers.
