Text A depicts a mothers res

3、ponses to her daughters fight for independence through detailed description of the mess left behind by the daughter. The mother feels angry, sad, and frustrated at her daughters leaving for independence; but out of love, she believes that her daughter will finally come back no matter how rebellions

4、she is now. 2UNIT Both Text A and Text B are written in the narrative present tense. Stories are normally told by using the past tense. However, if you want to make a story vivid, as if were happening now, you can use the present tense. Both texts tell stories which happened in the past. However, to
