Revision1). 教师出示一图片问Who is he? 学生回答He is Zhang Cun. 教师问Whats he like? 学生回答Hes short and old. 然后复习单词old.2) 教师出示一图片问Who is he? 学生回答He is Xiao Xin. 教师问Whats he like? 学生回答Hes ve

3、ry funny. 然后复习单词funny.设计意图出示学生们喜闻乐见的图片可以大大激发他们的学习兴趣,有利于学生完全投入到课堂活动中来。3. Free talk教师说出班里几个同学的名字,学生描述该同学的性格特征,进而复习描述人物的相关知识,为后面的学习作铺垫。T: Can you tell me what is Wang Yi like?S: She is shy.T: Can you tell me what is Li Mengzhen like?S: She is quiet.设计意图创设实际情境,描述自己的同学,引出本节课的话题,巧妙地帮助学生复习相关词汇和句型,激活学生关于人物性

4、格或外貌特征知识的背景图示。二、呈现新课(Presentation)1. Learn new wordsT: Today we will learn some new words to describe whats a person like.1).学习polite图片展示,直接教授单词polite,同时加上句子Is he polite? Yes, he is.(意图:通过图片展示,直观地教授新单词,并把上节课的句子应用于本节课中,上下衔接,注重新老知识的结合应用。)2). 学习helpful图片展示,然后老师问: Is she polite? Ss: No, she isnt.T: So w

5、hats she like?Ss:T: Shes helpful. So follow me.(方式: 通过上节课的句型Is she.?引出本节课的句型Whats she like? 及回答Shes. 意图:通过设置这个情节,用旧知识引出新知识,同时引出要学习的新单词,让学生进一步巩固旧知识,而不至于唐突地引出新知识。)3). 学习shy图片展示: T: Look at this boy. Is he helpful? Ss: No, he isnt. T: So whats he like? Ss: T: Hes shy. So follow me, shy.纠音: shy/ a/(意图:让

6、学生进一步熟悉本节课的新句型Whats he/she like?及其回答,同时让学生了解shy的发音。)4). 学习hard-working图片展示: T: Look at this boy. Who is he? Ss: He is Wu Yifan. T: Is he shy? Ss: No, he isnt. T: So whats Wu Yifan like? Ss: Hes hard-working. T: So follow me, hard-working.(方式:通过fast reaction的游戏让学生操练单词,并在小组中交替练习。)5). 学习clever方式也是通过图片展

7、示,在教授单词的同时运用高低音的游戏让学生操练本单词。设计意图书通过不断的学习加深对单词的印象,从而达到对单词的掌握。2. Lets learn1).教师用多媒体课件出示本部分的教学挂图,并简单介绍情景。进而让学生再度复习所学的新单词。然后教师领读对话:Whats Wu Yifan like? hes hard-working. 让学生两人一组练习句型,注意练习时可换人物及性格特征进行对话。 最后学生分小组分角色朗读,并上台表演。2).Good thinking. (通过选词填空呈现meaning)(1). Zhang Peng often gets 100 in the test. He i
