Analysis of the material: This unit is from the Primary English Book of Science and Education Press for the part one term of Grade Four. In this part students can talk about seasons and ask which season do you like. The key sentence

3、is: Which season do you like? I like winter ./ I like skating. In the teaching course, the teacher should use the pictures and tapes to create the real situations and happy atmosphere. The pupils need to be encouraged to communicate and act. 2. Analysis of the Students: (1) knowledge level: The stud

4、ents have learned the sentence,: Which season do you like? I like winter ./ I like skating. In Grade four. That would be helpful for their study of Which season do you like? (2) Age characteristics: The students are very happy and active to speak English in the class, In this age they want to join i

Teach the sentence: Which season do you like? ( to make the mood be polite) Teach the phrase: which season . Practi

11、ce in pairs: -Which season do you like? -I like spring. (2) Summer T: Whats this ? Show a picture of summer. Ss: summer. Show a picture of a summer and teach the word “summer”. 13、this photo) Step 2 Summary Finish the sentence with the words you know. By do in this, students can remember some words and sentences they have learned and make them together into a new dialogue. Text reading Show the context in the book, ask the students to act it out in groups. Extention Encourage

14、 the students make a dialogue and try to act it out referring to the words and phrases: spring, summer,fall, winter, season, warm ,hot, cool, cold, which Sentence: Which season do you like?
