Whats your favourite toy? 一、设计说明 本课选自人民教育出版社新起点英语Book II Unit 11 Lesson 62。以小学生最感兴趣的“玩具” 为教学内容,运用先进的多媒体技术,激发学生的学习兴趣,使其能积极主动地参与到学习之中。 在教学过程中,构建轻松、自然的语言环境,创设师生共同交流、学习的舞台。在愉快、民主的 气氛中,演绎教与学的和谐统一,发展学生综合应用语言的能力。 二、设计详案 I. Contents(内容): Words: pinwheel, train, boat, doll, ball, plane, teddy bear, car ,bus Sentence: Whats your favourite toy? II. Purpose(目标): 1.Knowledge(知识): Enable the students to catch new words: pinwheel, train, boat, doll, ball, plane, teddy bear, car ,bus. 2.Ability(能力): Enable the students to ask and answer: - Whats your favourite toy? - A pinwheel. 3.Feeling(情感): (1)Raise the students interest to learn English. (2)Encourage the students to have good cooperation with each other and learn from each other. III. Focus(重点): 1.Words: pinwheel, train, boat, doll, ball, plane, teddy bear, car ,bus 2.Sentence:Whats your favourite toy? IV. Method and Preparation(课前准备): Teaching pictures ,tape ,some toys pictures ,some toys ,CAI etc. V. Teaching procedures(教学过程): Step 1 :Warmup 1.Greeting : T: Hello, children. Ss: Hello, Miss Zhang . T: How are you ? Ss: Fine ,thank you .And you? T: Im ok! 2.Listen and do T: Stand up !Sit down !Stand behind me !Sit next to me ! (设计意图:课前和学生用英语进行简单的日常会话,可以拉近师生的距离。而 TPR 活动有助于 学生集中注意力,做好上课的准备。) Step 2 :Presentation 1.Lead into the new lesson T: What do you like to play with? Ss: Toys. T: Lets go to the Toys Town(多媒体显示一个玩具城) 2.Teach the new words T: Look, whats this?(从玩具城开出一辆小汽车)Oh, its a car. T:(point at it):Car. Ss: Car! T: Show me your toy car! Ss:(hold up their cars card):Car! Car! Car! 3.Teach other words in the same way. (设计意图:在计算机课件的辅助下,通过对画面的观察,引出了学生喜爱的玩具,从而调动学 生的兴趣,初步认识这些玩具。) Step 3: Drill Listen and do. T says ,Ss put up their relative toys. T: Show me your pinwheel! Show me your train! Show me your boat! Show me your doll! Show me your ball! Show me your teddy bear! Show me your car! Show me your plane! Show me your bus! 2.Look and read. T: Look! Whats this? Ss: A plane. 3.Game: Whats missing? T put up some pictures, Ss skim the pictures ,then T takes one, Ss can guess “Whats missing?” (设计意图:随着 TPR 活动的进行,学生渐渐进入兴奋状态,使学生对英语的恐惧和惧难的情绪 降到最低,带学生进入一个轻松、和谐的英语学习氛围中,既训练了他们的听力,与快速反应的 能力。 通过 Chant 操练、快速反应、游戏巩固三个环节,学生大多能够熟练掌握九个生词,为下一步学 习句型打下了基础。) 4.Sing the song (1)T: Lets relax, sing an English song ,OK? Ss: OK! (屏幕显示一列长长的火车,带着孩子们喜爱的玩具,奔向远方。) Toy train, toy train. Choo, choo, choo. Toy train, toy train. Go, go , go . Plane, plane. Follow me. Plane, plane. Come and see. (Using other toys to take place plane .) (2)Sing and dance. (设计意图:通过生动有趣的歌曲,让学生自主地参入学习,将学习活动推向高潮,学生在唱一 唱,跳一跳中,进一步巩固对单词的学习和记忆。) Step 4: Presentation 1.Teach the new sentence: T: Look! Whats this?(屏幕显示一只可爱的小狗:Lucky) Ss: Lucky! T:Who are they?(显示大家所熟悉的人物 Bill, Andy, Lily, Joy) T:Now ,Listen .Whats Lucky talking about? (屏幕显示 Lucky 与伙伴们的对话,学生在仔细倾听中,听准读音,以便模仿。) Ss: Whats your favourite toy? T: Oh, good! Youre clever! T:(Holds a teddy bear):I like teddy bear.(作出喜爱之状)My favourite toy is teddy bear.(让学生明白 “favourite”的意思)Whats your favourite toy?(教师说慢一些,让学生听清楚,给学生一个思索 的过程。) S1:A plane. S2:A train . 2.Listen and say. Lucky: Whats your favourite toy? Bill: A pinwheel. Lucky: Whats your favourite toy? Andy: A car. Lucky: Whats your favourite toy? Lily: A plane. Lucky: Whats your favourite toy? Joy: A teddy bear. (设计意图:从多媒体转移到实物练习,从单个单词练习转移到简单句型的练习,使学生在了解 句意的同时,培养学生的语言表达能力及表演能力。) Step 5: Practice Practise the dialogue in pairs. Act out the dialogue . Play a game: Have a train. (学生带着自己喜爱的玩具排成一队。) T: My favourite toy is doll, Whats your favourite toy? S1:A teddy bear. Whats your favourite toy? S2:A plane. Whats your favourite toy? S3:A train. (设计意图:游戏是孩子们最乐意做的事情。开展“开火车”的游戏,不仅调动小学生的学习积 极性,活跃了课堂气氛,而且将被动的接受性学习转变成主动积极的活动,培养学生的自主学习 能力。) Step 6 :Consolidation and extension Make a survey. Whats your favourite toy?
