(2)Enjoy a video about “camping”. 【设计意图:通过播放小短片让孩子们感受美国人的野营氛围,再 观看短片的过程中复习并明确“camping”“camp site”“camper”这三 个单词的具体含义。 】 Step 2.Lead in. 1.Meet Johns family: T shows a picture of Johns family. Q: Why is his name Quick? 【设计意图: 通过看 John 一家的照片,熟悉故事中的每一个人物, 也为后续的课文学习做好铺垫,并以此考察孩子们对课文的预习情 况。其中,当出现 Quick 这个主人翁的时候提出问题“Why is his name Quick?”引发学生发散思考,尽可能为学生的语言输出增加途 径。接下来,带着“谁是最棒的野营者?”这个问题看视频。 】 Step 3. Presentation &Practice 1. Watch the video and find the answer Q: Who is the best camper in the story? 【设计意图:看视频初步感知故事大意,明确在今天这个故事中, 小狗 Quick 是最棒的野营者。并引出标题,跟读。 】 2. Read and fill in the blanks. T: Two words are missing. Read the whole story quickly and then fill in the blanks. 【设计意图:看视频之后学生明确了 Quick 是最棒的野营者,但是 为什么呢?孩子们带着这个问题进行进一步阅读,补充文本中两个 丢失的单词,进而引出“smart” “helpful”两个关键词。如果孩子 们能补充其他相关词汇,言之有理的也要予以肯定。 】 3. Read P1-4 carefully and answer the questions (1( Read and underline. (2( Check the answers. (3( Show the key information of P1-4 (4)Listen and read. 【设计意图:学生带着四个问题精读一到四段。学生大声朗读,独 立思考,画出答案。老师在对答案的时候呈现故事的时间地点人物 事件。并带领孩子们梳理一到四段的关键信息,以达到给学生示范 如何提取关键信息的目的。在梳理文章的过程中,口头设置问题 “如果你是这只小狗,主人把你留在家里你会是什么感受?”以此 发散思维,引发孩子自然而然的输出语言。 】 4. Read P5-8 carefully and finish the group work. (1( Read picture 5-7 and discuss the questions in your group. (2( Write down the key verbs with your partners. 【设计意图:精读文章五到七段,五六七三个自然段是文章的高潮 部分,教师首先带领学生梳理文本大意。并在这个过程中渗透相关 安全教育,告诉孩子们安全高于一切。进而引导孩子们进行小组合 作讨论这些问题,并把关键信息写出来。这个任务进一步考察了孩 子们对故事的理解以及提取关键信息的能力。 】 Step 4 .Consolidation . 1.Make a thinking map. 【设计意图:通过层层梳理,黑板上出现了故事中的关键信息。利 用这些关键信息,教师创造性的摆出一个汉堡包作为这个小故事的 思维导图,以此激发孩子们的学习兴趣,也为孩子们课后做思维导 图提供的思路。 】 2.
