(二)Review 1.“You cannot judge a book by its cover.” 提示:通过看一组图片对比,说出这个谚语的含义。 2.“An apple a day keeps the doctor away” 通过一首歌曲来巩固这个谚语。 (三)Presentati
3、on 1. “The early bird catches the worms” 讲解新单词 catches 和 worms, 并展示一个小故事帮助学生理解其 含义。 2. “Every season brings its joy.” 讲解此谚语道理,每一件事情都有其两面性,我们要往好的方面去 想。举了两个简单的例子 Example1. But we should be hardworking today and be successful tomorrow! 告诫学生要珍惜眼前,珍惜现在。 5.“Let sleeping dogs lie.” 谈论英语当中有很多谚语都与狗有关。举几个例子,
6、并让学生猜测其 意思。告诫学生,此谚语让我们做好自己,不管闲事。 6.“Its the empty can that makes the most noise.” 实物演示 empty can 的意思。举两个现实中的例子去帮助理解本谚 语的内涵。告诫我们要谦虚切勿骄傲。 (四)Summery 总结本节课的学习成果。并让学生反复诵读 Hardworking, modest , optimistic, do yourself and cherish our present.
