Warm-up. 教师走进教室,可以先用以前学过的句型 Whatday is it today?开问,让学生用 It s Monday/Tuesday.进行回答,以复习和巩固以前所学内容。同时,由复习星期名称引出科目 名称。教师可以进一步问:How many lessons do we have on Mondays/Tuesdays? 待学生回 答后,教师再问:What lessons do we have in the morning/afternoon? 引导学生说出有关学习 科目。 2. 任务 1 的教学: (1)在进行上述活动的基础上,教师让学生看 Look, listen and act 的教学内容,看对话中 出现了哪些人物,他们在谈论什么,提到了学校开设的哪些科目。 (在学生看的过程中,教 师将有关生词和 What subjects do you study? We study Chinese, English and Maths.和 Do you have Art? Yes, we do. We have Art on Tuesdays. 等句型写到黑板上,或用多媒体展示出来。 ) (2)教师简单讲解黑板上或多媒体展示出来的生词和句型。然后,教学生认读、跟读和记 忆。 (3)播放 Look, listen and act 的录音,先让学生听两遍。在听懂大意的基础上,给学生布 置“任务” ,比如:What subjects does Li Wei study? Does Zhou Lin have Art on Tuesdays? Who does Joe want to play basketball with?等,让学生带着问题、带着目的去听录音。 (4)通过多种形式让学生朗读 Look, listen and act 的内容,比如:跟录音读,跟教师读, 角色扮演朗读(根据对话角色,让不同的学生扮演) 。也可以让学习成绩好的学生,将课文 内容换成自己的话来进行复述。 (注意,复述课文内容难度比较大,应根据学生实际情况选 择使用。而且,只要学生大致复述即可,不可在语法等上过度苛求学生,以免打击学生学 习英语的积极性。 ) (5)在学生听懂和熟读的基础上,组织学生以小组为单位,进行角色扮演,模仿 Look, listen and act 的内容进行对话表演。 (在学生进行对话表演时,教师可将 Look, listen and act 内容通过图片或多媒体等方式,向学生适当提供情景,以便学生模仿对话时参考。 ) 语言点解释语言点解释: also 和 too 意思都是“也” ,但在句中的位置不同。试比较: We also study Science and IT. (=We study Science and IT, too.) And we study Music, too. (=And we also study Music.) 学校开设的科目名称,第一个字母可以大写,如 Art, Music, Maths 等。例如: We study Science in the science lab.(第一个 Science 表示科目,开头的第一个字母大写;第 二个 science 不表示科目,开头的第一个字母不大写。 ) IT 意思是“信息技术课” ,是 information technology 的缩略形式。 PE 意思是“体育课” ,是 physical education 的缩略形式。 3. 任务 2 的教学: (1)教师让学生看 Listen and say 的教学内容,带领学生朗读 subject, Science, Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 这几个单词,或让学生齐声朗读这几个单词。 (2)播放 Listen and say 的录音,先让学生仔细听,注意录音中所提到科目和星期的名称。 (3)根据 Listen and say 的内容,让学生两人一组,仿照图片上面的对话形式,就科目和 星期等单词进行对话练习(所用句型可以适当灵活变化,以体现活学活用之目的) 。 (4) “对话接龙”游戏。Pupil A 问 Pupil B:What subject do you study on.?
