The language goal of this lesson is to master some new words “shoot, miss, join, show, score and win”; new phrase: football player. Use the sentence patterns “Whats he like? He is .” “He must be tall and strong”. The topic is related to Ss daily life. Students may be interested about the food. .【Analysis of students】 Einstein once said: Interest is the best teacher. Interest is the starting point in learning consciousness, also is the wisdom of a source of inspiration. This course is for the Ss of Grade 5. They have learned English for two and a half years. They have a great interest and curiosity in English .Teachers should seize their favorable factors.
