Today Im very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is Dont Fall, Danny taken from Lesson 31 of Unit 6. It is made up of three partsPart 1 My understanding of this lessonThe analysis of the teaching material:This is the first lesson of Unit6.It is a very important part in this unit.Lesson 31 is a dialogue, its about the history of Olympics .By studying Lesson31,the students can improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities. At the same time, make them understand world records. Some of them will go to realize their dreams.Teaching aims:1. Knowledge aim: Understand the main idea of this lesson.2. Ability aim: Retell the text in their own words.3. Emotional aim: Make the Ss create their own Olympic slogans, mascots and logos. Teaching important points: The important points : New words and phrasesThe difficult points : How to create their slogans, mascots and logos. Part 2 Something about the Ss:1. The Ss have known something about Olympic through the Internet and other ways.2. They are lack of vocabulary.3. They dont often use English to express themselves and communicate with others.4.
