Most of the students are able to read ,but I think it is not enough. If I have more time, I would ask more to come to the front and have a reading competition. It will be much better to arouse their interest of reading.Groupwork is very practical,especially for the students who are poor at reading ,they can feel the kindness from the others ,they are fair and cooperative , that is very useful. I will go on doing this kind of activities in the future.The video I choose is a little bit difficult for them to understand . I will play it again if time allowed. So the time arrangement should be better designed. Their oral English should be improved ,especially some boys ,they are too shy to show themselves because of their poor pronounciation and intonation. I should give them more opportunities to speak more and communicate wit their teammates . And I should try to speak English as much as possible , in order to create the language atmosphere , try to use English only when they are in Grade Eight.
