For some, health is defined by living a disease-free life. For o

4、thers, healthy is being able to play with grandchildren or perhaps adhering to a weekly exercise schedule. Though the definition of healthy may differ between people, living a healthy lifestyle is a fundamental component to achieving your optimal mental and physical well-being.Though many factors co

5、ntribute to your overall health, diet and physical activity are leading determinants of your level of health and quality of life. A nutritious diet of whole grains, lean meats, vegetables, fruits and healthy fats is necessary for weight management. A balanced diet also helps maintain energy levels t

6、hroughout the day. Regular physical activity, which includes a variety of aerobic and strength-building exercises, prevents weight gain that can lead to a plethora of chronic conditions. Additionally, lifestyle habits - such as not smoking and limiting alcohol intake - contribute to a healthy life.

7、Allowing your body to rest each day by getting a proper amount of sleep is also important to achieving a healthy lifestyle.How do you live a healthy lifestyle?Youre probably thinking it translates to “eat right and exercise.” But a healthy lifestyle is much more than just diet and physical activity.

8、 There are many ways to live a healthy lifestyle. Maintain a healthy weight. A handful of factors can contribute to your weight, including your diet, activity levels, genes and age. So get moving, avoid too much sitting and eat for your health. Use good judgment with alcohol. Excess alcohol consumpt

9、ion has been linked to several cancers, including breast cancer and esophageal cancer. On the other hand, several recent studies have found low or moderate alcohol consumption may lower your risk of death from all causes. Get your beauty sleep. Research shows chronic sleep loss may lead to weight ga

10、in and other health problems, including cancer. We need to give sleep the priority it deserves. Avoid tobacco. People tend to know very little when it comes to the dangers of smoking. All tobacco products including e-cigarettes and smokeless tobacco are dangerous and contain cancer-causing chemicals

11、. So, using tobacco any in any form puts your life at risk. Also, you should avoid secondhand smoke. It can cause lung cancer in non-smokers and is associated with heart disease and asthma attacks. Be smart in the sun. It takes more than a little sunscreen to avoid skin cancer, including its deadlie

12、st form, melanoma. Get screened. Cancer screening exams are medical tests done when you dont have any signs of illness. They can help find cancer early, when the chances for successfully treating the disease are greatest.Medical professionals work hard to keep our bodies healthy. Look at the picture
