New lesson a.Have kids look at the ppt and aks them “Where are the superkids?”What are they doing?” Then kids answer the 2 questions. When they answer What are they doing? question, show the picture and say they are on a picnic. I can lead in the topic. Today, they are on a picnic, they have something to eat and drink. Have them find the mouse Mojo and ask what is he eating? The kids answer: Mojo is eating some chicken. Show the picture of chicken and have kids keep quite and listen 3 times,and then check someone to read this word. b. Have s1 go to the front and point the chicken in the poster. And I point to the rice and ask kids is there some chicken? They answer Practice Production there is some rice. Then teach this word by phonics. Have kids pay attention to the I sound. They should open their mouth widely. c. Have kids look at the picture on ppt, and play a cover game,have them look and guess. Chicken and cake. Then teach this word cake by phonics. d. Hold some candy and ask them heres some candy. Play a game higher and higher 5 times .Have them read this word by boys and girls. After teaching the 4 words, have them read all together, and then I point and they say faster and faster. e. Show the picture Peter and ask how is Peter? Is he hungry? Then have kids listen and answer. Have s1 answer the question he is thirsty. Show the picture of thirsty and repeat the word. Peter is thirsty, so he can drink somehave kids listen and answer what is he drinking? Then teach the word juice. After they practice the word, hold up an orange and say there is an orange. Do you like orange? I will make orange juice for you. Have kids say juice if he or she is right, they can drink some juice. f. Hold some milk and say heres some milk. Teach milk by phonics, mi-l-k. play a game: high and low. I say high voice, the kids say low voice and then exchange. g. I am thirsty, but I dont like juice and milk. I dink some water and say water. Teach water by phonics, wa-ter. Practice water in rows. H, Ask s1 are you thirsty, and invite s1 go to the front and drink some in the cup they dont know. And then have them guess what is in the cup? Maybe some juice? Some water? And so on. At last have s1 tell other students heres some tea. i, after teaching the 4 words, play a game: whats missing? J, All the words have been taught, have kids follow the cd player, and then do the exercise: listen and number. K: Show all the real things and ask some kids what do you like and choose 1 and say I like L:Have kids say what they should eat and drink?
