(Unit 6 Good Habits 中的 More reading and writing 部分) 学情分析 本课的教学对象是五年级学生,年龄为 11 岁左右。他们已有四年半的英语 学习经历,四会单词量达到 400 个左右,会听说读写的句型约 50 个。学生在五 年一期中进行了英语阅读训练,具有一定的阅读能力,喜欢阅读英语短文。 教材分析 新课程标准二级教学总体目标要求学生能借助图片读懂简单的故事或 小短文。这就是要求学生通过能阅读文章达到理解的程度,包括对故事主要内 容的理解、主要人物的理解、故事情节的理解。本课例为广东人民出版社 Friends with English五年级下册 Unit6 Good Habits 的内容。本单元主要语法 点为一般现在时及八个动词词组的运用。在Friends with English前几册中学 生曾学习过一般现在时的相关句型: Do you like? What do you want to do? 与 本课的一般现在时有一定的联系。 Unit6 Good Habits 整个单元以好习惯与坏习 惯为话题,建议划分为五个课时,本课例为该单元最后一个课时,在学完新授 课、巩固练习后,最后完成 More reading and writing 部分。本课例内容围绕健 康护牙习惯,作为新词句的一个阅读补充,引导学生联系自己的实际情况,分 析和判断哪些是护牙的好习惯和不良习惯,帮助他们在今后的生活中科学护牙。 本单元在语法方面延续了第五单元的量词话题,呈现了量词 once, twice 以及 how often 句型的用法。另外,本单元还复现了 always, often, sometimes, usually 等频率副词。教师可以结合学生用书五年级上 册 Unit 5 My Favorite Activities 的相关语法知识,综合设计操练活动。 教学内容: 阅读短文:五年级下册 Unit 6 P74 More reading and writing 主要句型分别是: You should brush your teeth twice a day. Brush the inside of your teeth. 主要词汇分别是:healthy,inside, outside, biting part 教学目标 1. 知识技能目标 a)能在教师的的引导下正确阅读文章,获取护牙好习惯的相关信息; b)正确朗读文章; c)根据关键词复述文章。 2. 学习策略目标 a)能限时阅读、快速浏览获取短文大意; b)能通过默读获取文章相关信息; c)能根据关键词复述短文主要内容。 3情感文化意识目标 通过学习刷牙的步骤和日常护牙方法,引导学生培养良好的护牙习惯。 教学重点 引导学生运用正确的阅读策略进行阅读,理解文章内容、获取相关信息。 教学难点 学生能掌握正确的阅读方法,通过阅读获取文章相关信息. 教学策略 本课例以根据句子提示猜出 teeth 导入, 一开始就吸引了学生的注意力,激 发了学生的阅读兴趣,为顺利开展英语阅读教学、作了一个良好的开端。 在阅读中,教师设计了多样的阅读活动来激发学生的阅读兴趣和培养其阅读能 力。采用了限时阅读的方法,引导学生快速选择文章主题;以 Read, match and order 的任务引导学生理清上下大意;结合图片,指导学生理解 短文中的主要词汇;阅读文章,完成相关问题;同桌讨论并操练、复述短文等 等。 在阅读后提供了丰富的课外阅读材料和视频,为学生提供大量的接触英语 语料的机会,对增强他们的语感、丰富他们的生活知识、了解更多的护牙方法, 并进而提高他们的英语阅读能力。本课遵循以学生为中心,以兴趣为支点的新 课标教学理念,把阅读教学、交流合作、师生间的评价融为一体,达到语言、 功能、情感、任务和评价有机结合。 教学过程 ( 以下 T=teacher S=student) Step Pre-reading 1. A guessing game. Have students look and guess . T: Lets play a guessing game. They are part of your body. They are white. They are i n your mouth. What are they? S: They are teeth. 2. Teaching the new word “healthy”. T: Look at these teeth. They are “good teeth”. We can also say “healthy teeth”. S: Healthy teeth. T: Look at this picture. Are these healthy teeth? S: No. T: They are bad teeth. Do you want healthy teeth? S: Yes, we do. T: How can we have healthy teeth? Step While-reading 1. First reading. Have students read the passage quickly and grasp the main idea of the passage. 2. Second reading. (1)Have students read the passage ,then match the pictures with the sentences. Teac h the new words outside, inside & biting part during this step. (2)Have students number the sentences. (3) Have students read the sentences about steps of brushing teeth. 3. The third reading. (1)Read and write. Have students read the passage and answer the questions of page 7 5. (2) Finish exercise 4 of page 75. Purpose: To guide students to understand the reading material, develop students read ing skills and improve their reading ability. Step Post-reading 1. Discussion. Have students discuss in groups about how to have good teeth. 2. Reading the text. Have students read the text after the tape, then ask some students to read the text sente nce by sentence. 3. Retelling the text. Have students to retell the text with the key words and sentences. 4. Extension. (1)Have students read a passage about Gogos habit, then answer two questions. (2) Have students give some suggestions to Gogo, fill in the blanks of the letter. Purpose: To check students reading and retelling of the text, and expand the usage of language material. This step is not only to let students practice, consolidate and expan d in the process of reading, but also to develop their ability of speaking and writing. 5.
