I. Revision: A. Fill the blanks according to the text to preview some useful words and phrases learnt. It is common for you to have difficult (1)____with your parents. Students may answer the following topics. we have learnt an article about relationships between parents and children; a letter about advice on parent-child tensions; a touching story: mothers love for her daughter. Understand the plot : T: Please pay attention to the changes of the feelings of the son. Feelings can be shown through the characters words and actions. The change of feelings can promote the development of the plot. T: The plot of a play can be divided into four parts: beginning, conflict, climax and ending. The climax plays an important role in the plot. The plot : When he was a child, he thought his father didnt love him . With him growing up, he was always quarreling with his father. T: The play script includes stage directions and dialogues. Stage directions give instructions and tell the readers when and where the play is set. The dialogues include characters and lines. Lines should be oral and natural.
