Free talk “How many seasons in a year? ” Step Two Leading in 1. Then review the four seasons with the different pictures. 2. Show the riddle “Which season is the most dangerous one?” to the students. Talk about the answer- fall. (Purpose:Riddle is a common game,which arouse the students 2 interest of learning English. At the same time, lets review the season words.) 3. Create a context to lead into the English world:In order to make the environment more beautiful, we should ask for help of wind of Spring、rain of Summer、leaves of Fall、snow of Winter. But we have to go through four levels to finish some tasks first. All my friends! Are you ready? OK. Lets go! (Purpose:To guide the students to complete the task through the context. And the task is more and more difficult. I want to use this form to stimulate the curiosity of students. At the same time, finish the core language training.) Step Three Presentation and Practice T:Welcome to Level 1. Lets practice the dialogue with your partners. “Which season do you like? I like. I can.” then show us. All the students practice in pairs and show us. (Purpose:Speaking is the main skill.
