Section A (3a-3c) 一、教材分析教材分析: 本单元构建过去场景中正在发生的各种情况引导学生学习并使用过去进行时。整个 Section A 的语言学习内容就是用过去进行时来表达过去某个时间在做什么,并学习用 When 和 While 描述某个动作或者某个事件的发生。本节课的 3a-3c 以阅读篇章为核心, 通过让学生阅读一篇过于美国亚拉巴马州遭遇暴风雨袭击后人们互相帮助的故事,进一步 体会过去进行时的用法,并学习一些居住场景中常用的词汇,同时注重对青少年情感的教 育和培养,让他们知道在灾害面前更要团结,友善,更懂得互相帮助。 二、学生分析学生分析: 八年级学生已经具备了一定的英语水平,且对阅读技巧有所领悟,通过适当引领,学 生可以正确使用所学语言和技能理解篇章大意,会表述文章内容,并有所创新。 三、教学目标教学目标: 1. 知识与技能:通过篇章阅读,掌握 storm,wind,report,area 等新的词汇及有用的表达 方法,能用准确的语言描述发生在过去的故事和事件。 2. 过程与方法:通过图片及文章标题预测文章的主旨大意,帮助学生学会分析阅读篇章的 结构,训练快速阅读的技巧。 通过设置多样化的阅读活动。如思维导图,连线,回答问题,任务型词汇 阅读等来帮助学生细致阅读,深度理解,同时培养学生的英语语言能力和 思维品质。 3.情感态度价值观:在课堂学习的过程中,让学生懂得灾难来时,我们要面对困难,彼此 守望相助。 四、教学重点教学重点:设置多样化的阅读任务,帮助学生充分理解课文,掌握阅读技巧,并掌握 新的词汇和表达,形成良好的英语思维品质。 五、教学难点教学难点:阅读技巧和思维品质的培养。 六、教学辅助教学辅助:多媒体课件 七、教学过程教学过程: 1.leading in: Ask the students to close their eyes, just listen to the sound ,then tell us what they can hear. (strong winds). The wind is blowing strongly, maybe a storm will come, do you know something about it ? What will a storm bring to us?(show the pictures to introduce ) Today well experience a real storm through a story 设计意图设计意图:通过让学生闭眼聆听声音,创设悬疑,让学生产生好奇心和浓厚的兴趣,为 下面的学习做准备,同时自然引出暴风雨的话题,并利用图片直观讲解一些 相关词汇。 2.While-reading: A. Fast reading Read silently for the first time quickly and get the main idea of each paragraph 设计意图设计意图:培养学生梳理篇章结构和快速阅读获取篇章主旨大意的技巧 B. Careful reading Read the first paragraph by themselves loudly, and find out what the weather is like before the storm, and then fill in the mind-map 设计意图设计意图:利用简单思维导图,帮助学生快速寻找关键词,获取天气信息。 Read the second paragraph in pairs, and find out what people were doing to prepare for the coming storm. And then try to complete the sentences on the screen. (One student will write down the answers on the Bb.) 设计意图设计意图:同伴互助选出重点词汇及过去进行时的句式结构,帮助学生在理解篇章的 基础上,掌握其用法。同时利用框架结构进行复述。 Read the third paragraph, and tell us Ben and his family were doing when the storm came, and then try to answer some questions about it. 设计意图设计意图:有针对性的提出问题,引导学生伙伴之间问答,即达到理解篇章的目的, 又能进一步训练过去进行时的用法。 Read the fourth paragraph, and fill in the blanks, then try to retell the last part and grasp some important expressions.( make sure the students know the storm brought neighbors closer together) 设计意图设计意图:设计重点词汇和表达挖空以及句式的转换,使学生在阅读过程中体会他们 的用法,培养学生思维转换能力和语言运用能力。 3.
