Lesson 6 Teaching aims: 1.The students could read and write these new words bedroom, living room,sofa,armchair,kitchen,fridge,picture,bathroom,DVD player; 2.Students could use key drills to ask and answer questions with each other.Look at the bedroom.There is a new bed. Look at the living room.There is a TV.There are two sofas. Look at the kitchen. There is a new fridge. Whats in the study? There is a new computer. Whats in the living room? There is a DVD player. 3.Students could read and retell the story to their friends. Teaching key points and difficults: Know some listening skills. Teaching methods: Ask and answer questions; Listen and repeat Studying methods:Group work; pair work;chant Teaching aids: Flash cards; big paper; exercise books Teaching time: one class Teaching Proceduce Step One: Greeting and warm up. 1. Say hello to students. 2. Chant with the film. Step Two: Presentation 1. Let students tell me some words in unit 1. 2. Give Chinese meanings and say English meanings. 3. Teacher use ppt to introduce home,later let students introduce their home and describe it. 4. Watch the cartoon and answer questions a. What animals can you see? b. Whats in Mickys home? 5. Check the answers. a. They are cat and monkey. b. There is a living room,study,kitchen and a bedroom. 6. Listen and repeat. 7. Translate them into Chinese. 8. Divide students in many groups and have a match. Step Three:Practice 1. Change roles to read the story. 2. Listen and number. 3. Check the answer. 4. Do small erercise books. Homework: 1. Copy new words in unit 1. 2. Read the story to their parents. Blackboard design: Lesson 6 This is my living room. There are six chairs and an armchair. 课后反思:通过今天用四年级(2)班的孩子们上了一节达 标课以后,我发现孩子们的素质真的很高,回答问题很积 极,都特别渴望得到我发给他们的奖品。在小组合作当中, 有些孩子没有参与到活动中来,不敢大声说英语。在日后 的教学当中,我应该多给学生练习的时间,注重练习的过 程和效率。教师给学生布置任务之前,指令一定要特别清 晰,多给孩子一些示范和引导。在备课的时候一定要多给 孩子一些信息,拓展知识面,练习口头作文和笔头作文。 为六年级的毕业考试做准备。
