I .The analysis of teaching material: The teaching material is from a textbook which was published by Sichuan Education Press for the second semester of grade 3. The topic of this lesson is “Whats that?”Its mainly makes students learn how to ask a question about the farther things which they dont know. II. The analysis of learning condition: The students in grade 3 have been learned English for only one term,they havent had enough language background.Most of them are not confident about their pronunciation or even afraid of speaking English in classes. As a result,I will encourage them to express themselves bravely as frequently as possible .In addition ,the students of this age are always active and curious about everything around them. Most of them cant concentrated on their class for a long time,thus it is important to adopt various ways to attract their attention and to develop their interests in English learning. III. Teaching Objectives: 1.Knowledge Objectives: By the end of the class,students can pronounce and understand the new words and sentences. 2 (1)New words: that ant elephant giraffe (2)New sentences:Whats that?
