Write down one of your experiences that made you feel very happy or sad(covering six elements). 1. 设计思想 本课以英语课程标准中的核心理念为依据,即能就简单的话题提供信息,表达 简单的观点和意见,参与讨论;能理解故事情节;能根据不同的阅读目的运用简单的阅 读策略获取信息;能根据话题进行情景对话;能在口头表达中进行适当的自我修正;在 口语活动中语音语调自然,语气恰当。 本节课是第十一单元 Section B 的第二课时 ,本节课的学习目标有三个。第一个是 通过预测和排序来获取故事整体信息,理清文章结构;第二个是通过表格、思维导图解 读文本中人物 Peter 的情感变化,获取细节信息,梳理文章故事情节;第三个是通过深 入解读人物对话和挖掘掘中心思想,总结出“The Winning Team”的特点,培养学生的 团队精神。为了实现以上三个学习目标,首先安排学生观看有关“团队精神”的视频, 激发学生对所学内容的学习兴趣并谈论观看后的感想,以此引“The winning team”的话 题,进而引出发生在 Peter 身上的故事。通过标题和图片预测故事内容,依据段意排列 正确的事情发展顺序,训练学生运用 Skimming 的阅读技能。根据故事情节把课文分成 三部分及完成相应的细节问题,把所掌握的重要信息转化为思维导图式来加深理解人物 情感变化,最后的活动是向学生布置本课的终极任务,并用这个任务创设有效的口语交 际场景采用我们学生亲身经历的拔河比赛,足球赛,篮球赛,接力赛等来谈谈学生 在经历过程中的情感变化。在这个过程中,不仅锻炼了学生的组织能力、合作能力和口 语表达能力,同时巩固了他们运用所学习语的能力,起到激发学生学习兴趣的目的。最 后再设计讨论环节,学生共同讨论他们对题目的理解并总结出“The Winning Team”的 特点。整个活动突出学生为主体,教师为主导的教学理念,学生的积极参与贯穿始末, 使学生在潜移默化中完成从学习目标语言到运用目标语言的迁移。 2. 教学背景分析 一、教材分析 本单元Unit 11围绕情感这个话题,主要谈论事物对人的影响,通过学习旨在使学生学 完后能理解和体会他人的感受并能表达自己的感受,培养学生善于交际和善于同他人合作 的精神,树立勇敢面对挫折的积极态度。Section B 是Section A 内容的继续和延伸。在 话题上,从Section A 事物对人情感产生影响的简单叙述,转向描述人们对某种情感所持 有的观念;在语言上,除了进一步综合训练、巩固单元重点内容外,正确、得体地运用相 关形容词描绘情感,表达情感变化成为本部分的重点;在语言技能上,则由Section A 的 单项技能训练转向侧重听、说、读、写的综合性训练。 本课选 Unit 11 Section B(2a-2e),是 Section B 的 第二课时,属于阅读课。 主题:情感 (feeling) 语篇: 叙事性记叙文(语言知识、文化知识、思维发展) 本文是以事情发展的先后顺序为明线,以 Peter 情感变化为暗线来展开叙述的,文 章第一段讲述的是 Peter 输球后,在回家的路上,通过他的行为举止、眼神和心理活动来 点明 Peter 心情非常沮丧,中间二、三、四、五、六段主要通过语言描写,通过 Peter 和爸 爸的对话,让他进行了思考,并决定走出阴影。七、八、九段通过对团队精神的理解(对 话描写)来帮助他走出阴影,重树了信心,并且在最后一段启发学生思维:虽然输球,但 却认为自己在一个获胜团队里来点明主旨,与文章标题首尾呼应。 本文的重点是通过阅读策略获取故事细节信息,解读文本中人物 Peter 的情感变化,培 养学生的团队精神。难点在于通过能够通过深入解读人物对话和挖掘掘中心思想,总结出 “The Winning Team”的特点。 通过对本节课内容的学习,培养学生的开放和包容的性格,培养学生善于交际和善于 同他人合作的精神。本节课主要通过老师逐步引导学生根据预测,排序,细读,思维导图 四个阅读策略不断挖掘文本细节信息,通过分析主人公 peter 情感变化的过程,让学生们正 确认识生活中的挫折与失败,意识到团队的重要性。 二、学情分析 学习对象:初三 064 班学生基础相对较好。大多数学生英语学习兴趣较浓,自信心强, 乐于感知新事物。虽然学生们基础知识扎实,阅读能力较强,但相应的阅读技能仍需提高。 在以前阅读教学中我们多用回答问题,判断正误的形式来获取信息。本学期以来,我们学 校提倡运用思维导图,所以在本节课的活动设计中我创设了表格及思维导读的形式来获取 细节信息来激发学生阅读的兴趣,为今后学习及其他学习过程中思维导图的运用起到一定 的抛砖引玉的作用。另外现在的孩子都比较聪明,做事能力也强,但帮助他人及与他人合 作意识较弱,所以在本节课中,我重点设在了挖掘团队精神,培养团队合力,让学生感受 到团队的力量,集体的温暖。再者学生到了初三,在说的方面较欠缺,大部分学生不愿开 口,不愿展示自我。为了给学生创造自我展示和自我学习的平台,本课设计了自由谈论环 节,让学生结合自己的亲身经历谈论团队的重要性,为他们提供了一个很好的展示平台。 希望通过本课学习,进一步加强他们的语言综合运用能力。 3. 教学目标 (含重、难点) 教学目标:本节课结束时,学生能够: 1 、通过预测和排序来获取故事整体信息,理清文章结构; 2、 通过表格、思维导图解读文本中人物 Peter 的情感变化,获取细节信息,梳理文章 故事情节; 3、 通过深入解读人物对话和挖掘掘中心思想,总结出“The Winning Team”的特点, 培养学生的团队精神。 教学重点: 通过阅读策略获取故事细节信息,解读文本中人物 Peter 的情感变化,培养学生的团 队精神。 教学难点: 能够通过深入解读人物对话和挖掘掘中心思想,总结出“The Winning Team”的特点. 4. 教学过程 Teaching Procedure Teachers activities 教师活动教师活动 Students activities 学生活动学生活动 Aims 设计意图设计意图 Step 1 Lead - in Ask the Ss to watch a video The Ss tell their feelings after the video 通过观看视频,激发学 生兴趣,并让学生感知 团队精神及团队的重要 性。为引出新课做铺垫。 Step 2 Pre-reading Connect the picture with the title , make students have a predicting what well learn.
