17、 fisherman must be lying. Besides, on the inside of the whirlpool, the fisherman said that there were other objects in the whirlpool-trees and barrels. According to my knowledge, trees and barrels appear somewhere near the land, where a whirlpool is very unlikely to occur. So these two points are ac

18、tually contradictory. Additionally, on the inside of the whirlpool, they went round in circles at great speed. How could the fisherman manage to catch a barrel and tie himself to it?
