5、 passes through deserts,mountains,grasslands and valleys on its way westwards.In the 2nd century BCE,in the Han Dynasty,the Changan-Tianshan Corridor began to develop.The network remained in use until the 16th century,after experiencing a gradual expansion between the 6th and 14th centuries.Summary

6、of the Silk RoadAt first,silk was the main item exported by China on the Silk Road,and then exports gradually included china and tea.Horses,wool,cotton and grapes were imported along the network.The network also served as a bridge for cultural exchange.Astronomy and mathematics were introduced to Ch
