A descriptive title will help attract people to your recipe and set it apart from the thousands of variations o

8、ut there. Just come up with a title that sounds appetizing and appealing! How to write a recipe 2. Consider writing a short introduction. If your recipe has a special history, consider including a short introduction so readers will know how much heart and soul has gone into its creation. Write about

9、 who first cooked the recipe, or anecdotes(趣闻轶事)about times people in your family have enjoyed it. How to write a recipe 3. List the ingredients. For each ingredient, write exactly how much you used. You can use abbreviations for measurements. For example, tsp or tbs for teaspoon or tablespoon. 4. L

10、ist the ingredients in the order you use them. Its standard to list ingredients in order of use so that its easy for the reader to keep track of which ingredients have been used. How to write a recipe 5. List the ingredients used together in order of volume. For example, if youre writing a recipe on

11、 baking a cake, all the dry ingredients will probably be sifted(筛)together at once. Since you cant list them in order of usage, list them in order of volume: 2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and so on. How to write a recipe 6. Include simple techniques like chopping, mincing,

12、 and melting as part of the ingredient list. List the ingredient measurement first, followed by the technique. Here are a few examples: 1 cup butter, melted 2 apples, peeled and sliced How to write a recipe 7. Describe the equipment needed. Equipment can make or break a recipe, so be very specific a

13、bout the size, shape, and composition of the supplies needed to cook a dish. Let readers know if one type of equipment can be substituted (代替)for another. For example, a blender might do in the absence of a food processor. How to write a recipe 8. Write exact temperatures and cooking times. If the r

14、ecipe calls for the use of an oven, be sure to write exactly what temperature to preheat it to. Indicate how long the food should cook. For example, you can write: Bake for 20 - 25 minutes. How to write a recipe 9. Provide helpful information. Add any extra information that readers should know when

15、theyre cooking the recipe. Here are a few things you might want to include: List how many servings the recipe provides. Write how long the recipe takes to make, including prep and cooking time. Give sufficient warnings about any problems which may occur during the cooking. An example of this might b

16、e: Do not open the oven door while baking. How to write a recipe 10. Make the recipe clear and easy to read. When youre writing your recipe, write it in a way that makes it easy to read. If you wish, you can add some photos to make the instructions easier to follow. How to write a recipe Theres an a

A small mistake like listing the wrong ingredient or measurement could result in a ruined outcome, so when you write a recipe, choose each word carefully and put your instructions to the t
