1、必修三 Unit 3 一、重点语法知识讲解： 1.the way+定语从句： the way+ （that/in which） 定语从句 eg. What surprised me was not what he said but the way that/in which he said it. the way 用作连词,相当于 as， 引导方式状语从句， 翻译成按照， 正如 eg. He fought for the equal rights of the black people the way he wanted. the way 引导名词性从句，相当于 how，如何，怎样 eg.I
2、dont know the way Tom survived such a big fire. 2.find+宾语+宾补:发现/觉得-怎么样 find+名词+介词短语/形容词/副词/名词 find+名词+现在分词：表示主动或正在进行 find+名词+过去分词：表示被动或已 经完成 find +it+宾补+不定式：it 是形式宾语，不定式是真正宾语 3.强调句型：It is/was+被强调部分+that+其他部分 一般疑问句：Is/Was it+被强调部分+that+其他部分？ 特殊疑问句：疑问词+is/was it that+其他部分？ 注意：it 不能用其他词代替；用 is 还是 was 根
3、据原句的时态而定，属于现在或 将来时间用 is,属于过去时态的用 was；去掉 it is/was 和 that，适当调整语序，能 还原成完整的句子。 4.what 引导的主语从句+is +that 引导的表语从句：1）what 引导主语从句时在从 句中充当主语、宾语、表语等成分；what 在具体语境中表示一定的具体意义 2） that 引导主语从句时，在从句中不作任何成分，没有实际意义，只起连接作用， 不能省略 3）which 引导主语从句，表示哪一个，通常有一个可以选择的范围。 eg. What is important is that you point out his mistake.
4、 5.if 或 whether 引导的宾语从句：if 和 whether 不能和 that 或其他连接词同时使 用，也不能省去，具有疑问意义，应用陈述语序。 if 或 whether 引导的宾语从句，主句为一般现在时，从句可以用现在时的任何一 种时态，主句为一般过去时，从句则用过去时中的任何一种时态。 注意：在动词不定式之前只能用 whether；whether-or not 为固定搭配，在介词 后只能用 whether；从句放在句首表示强调时只能用 whether。 6.neither-nor-既不-也不-，表示完全否定；连接两个名词作主语时，谓语动 词的单复数遵循就近原则，遵循此原则的还有
5、 either-or-,not only-but also-,not-but-等；neither 或 nor 置于句首时，后句用部分倒装语序。 7.there is no proof that-没有证据证明-；固定句型 that 引导同位语从句，解释 说明 proof 的具体内容。 同位语从句： 一般由 that 放在 fact， news， idea， truth， hope， problem， information， thought 等抽象名词后，解释说明该名词的具体内容。that 引导同位语从句，只 起连接作用，无实际意义，不充当句子成分。 同位语从句与定语从句：共同点：从句前都有一个
6、与从句相关的名词。作用：前 者对名词解释说明，后者对名词修饰限制。引导词 that：前者只起连接作用，在 从句中不作成分，但不能省略。后者在从句中作主语、宾语或表语，作宾语时可 以省略。 二、重点词组学习： 1.look down at 向下看 look up at 向上看 look back on 回顾，回忆起 look down on/upon 轻视，瞧不起 look up to 仰慕，尊敬 look out for 注意，当心 get down to 开始做 run out of 用完， 用尽 think highly of 对-评价高 break away from 脱离， 逃 离 k
