Lesson 17 一、指导思想与理论依据 英语课程标准(实验稿) 中明确指出:基础教育阶段英语课程的任务之 一是激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习 惯和形成有效的学习方法,发挥自主学习的能力和合作精神,使学生掌握一定 的语言综合运用能力,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务 型的教学途径,培养学生跨文化交际意识。同时, 英语课程标准(实验稿) 二级目标要求:学生要能用所学单词表达二级规定的相应话题,其中包括文体 活动的话题。而语言知识是实现语言技能的基础,是服务于语言技能的,语音、 词汇、语法、功能、话题等语言知识又是融会贯通的。因此,我认为恰当的整 合单元语言知识和语言技能的内容是十分必要的。 二、教学背景分析: (一)教材背景分析: 本课为北京版小学英语四年级下册第五单元的第一课时,本单元围绕 “节日及安排”这一话题展开,对话都是基于学生喜闻乐见的重要节日设计的, 学生有较强的学习欲望。 Lesson17 场景为学生呈现如何向外国朋友介绍中国传统节日端午节,以 及相关的传统文化知识。本课对话侧重中国传统节日及相关习俗的讨论,教师 可以以端午节为基点向学生补充更多中国传统节日及习俗知识。通过本课的语 言学习,让孩子在不同节日情境下进行恰当的语言交际以及在讨论节日及安排 过程中,产生的延展性语言的理解及恰当运用。 (二)学生情况分析: 1. 认知特点: 本课的授课对象是小学四年级的学生,多数学生对英语的学习兴趣比较稳 1 固,养成了良好的英语学习习惯,具备了一定的语言交际能力,课上能够比较 积极参与,根据不同情况表达出自己的想法,学习效果明显。 2. 知识储备: 端午节这一话题,学生之前从来都没有接触过,是完全陌生的知识,虽然 话题贴近生活,但其中涉及到一些生词如 special, relatives,lantern show,,对 于学生来讲有一定的难度。 三、教学方式与手段: 通过任务开展小组合作学习、课前自主学习。并以听说读写多种形式进行 语言知识的训练。 四、技术准备: 自制 PPT、Flash 课件、词条、评价板。 五、教学目标: 1、能运用“Whats special about this day?” “In many places people eat zongzi.” 关于中国传统节日习俗的用语,在特定情景中进行简单交流; 2、 能在问答中国传统节日与习俗的情景中听懂、认读 Dragon Boat Festival, special, race, relatives, lantern show 等单词和词组,并理解、认读“It sounds fun.”等交流用语; 3、能正确、流畅地朗读课文对话; 4、能在情景中分角色朗读对话,并根据不同的中国节日及活动替换对话,朗读 对话; 5、能够深入了解中国传统节日端午节及其传统习俗,感受中国传统文化。 六、教学重、难点: 教学重点:1、句型 Whats special about this day? 及答语 In many places people . 2、词汇及短语 Dragon Boat Festival, special, race, relatives, lantern show 的正确认读。 教学难点:1、能够结合端午节说出不同的传统习俗,能够正确替换对话,并进 2 行简单交流; 2、 理解、认读“It sounds fun.”等有关交谈传统习俗的用语。 七、教学过程: Step 1 Warm-up Lets watch a picture show and tell me what can you see in it? 【设计意图】:活跃课堂气氛,激发学生的兴趣,初步感知本课学习的主要内 容,引入新课。 Step 2 Presentation 1、Check the answer. 2、Whats the video tell us?
