But the last day of Pompeii ended with a volcanic eruption: the earth shook and buildings fell down while people ran away from an ash cloud that was rolling towards them. Then Pompeii was showered with ashes and burning stones. Sev

Similes help the rea

In Paragraph 4, verb-ing forms like running, pressing, pushing create feelings of confusion because they show that these actions are happening at the same time. Fear is created with phrases
