1、教材分析 本单元是人教版新目标英语八年级下册第十单元， 也是最后一个单元。 要求学生能听懂谈论 人们拥有某物多长时间的话题，能熟练运用 since, for 谈论自己的个人物品。此前，学生已 学过了九个单元的新目标英语， 对整个课程的教学模式有了一定的了解， 具备一定的听、 说、 读、写的基础。对于现在完成时的用法前两个单元已经有所接触，为本单元学习和表达打下 了基础。通过本单元的进一步学习，使学生能够更加熟练地运用目标语言进行交际活动。 （一）语言知识目标 1、词汇：yard sale, toy, bear, bread maker, scarf, dress, sweater, sweet
2、, memory etc. 2、句型： How long have you had the?I have had for/since. How much is it?You can have it foryuan. （二）语言技能目标 1、掌握 for 和 since 的区别使用。 2、学会谈论拥有物品的信息。 （三）语言情感目标: 学生能够运用 for/since 自由造句, 结合现在完成时谈论更多关于自己或他人的信息。同时 由此句型引入父母的养育之恩, 使其学会感恩父母。 （四）教学策略目标 1、管理策略： 本班学生英语水平参差不齐， 一些学生因为基础较差难以参与到课堂活动中来， 缺乏自信
3、不 敢开口回答。对于这些学生应尽量鼓励他们，设计比较简单的任务来让他们体验成功感，从 而提高他们对英语学习的兴趣与自信心； 对于接受能力比较强的学生， 设计一些难度比较高 的任务，如复述、做报告等，让他们也能“吃得饱” 。 2、自学策略：引导学生调动已有的知识，根据情境推测答案，能自己总结归纳做题的技巧。 （五）教学重难点 1、教学重点： 掌握 for 和 since 的区别使用。 运用目标语言，学会谈论拥有物品的信息。 2、教学难点： 运用 for 和 since 句型进行表达和交流. 把目标语言运用到日常生活交际中。 教学过程 Step 1: Lead-in & presentation
