2、when I click on the star I want you to say the letter sound and action; do it in a normal speaking voice. Do once for whole class and once individually. Start New Class Todays letter sound is /ooo/, you can hear it here on the board, repeat it. Bing translates: Todays story is about a boy called Oli
3、ver who switches the light on and off. When Im reading the story listen very carefully, if you hear a /ooo/ sound put a finger up, second one put two fingers up. Get little kid to touch the board. Writing letter Give them a sound sheet each (no pencils yet). Start where the dot i
6、s. Make sure the top and bottom of the touches the two lines. If you have problems spacing, use your finger to make the correct space. Take your time and do carefully. Give pencils. 7、ure in turn. Here we are trying to get children to remember how to spell the word. Reveal pic of dog, sound it out for the kids d-o-g, then ask children to say the word. Then we ask the children to spell the word and write the letters on the board. So the same for pond and sock. Teach blending. Pg 8
8、. Important: I dont want you to guess the word; I want you to work it out by blending the letter sounds together. First we will say each of the letters sounds three times. Then I want you to say it in your head quickly. You have to wait until I click my finger and then you can blend the word. Dot,go

You dont have to write down your own word. Everyone has to be quiet so you can hear. I dont expect you to get them all right straightaway, aft
10、er a few weeks you will. Im going to call out a whole word and you have to spell the word with the letter sounds and the action. It gets easier with more practice. Get kids to blend the words they meet as they move along. Revision of letter sounds. I will show you the flash card and you have to say (not shout) the letter sound. Conclusion.
