粤人粤人 2011 课标版五年级下册课标版五年级下册 Unit 6 Good Habits More reading and writing 教学设计教学设计 一、教材文本分析一、教材文本分析 本节课的教学内容是广东人民出版社出版的开心学英语五年级下册 Unit 6 Good Habits 的 More reading and writing 阅读部分。 1. 主题意义和主要内容 本单元的主题为帮助学生培养健康的生活观念和生活习惯。在学习完该课 的 story, target, reading 的主要部分后,教材提供该阅读内容进行拓展,传达 了健康生活、积极向上的主题意义。而本节课的阅读文本简单介绍了保护牙 齿的刷牙方式和饮食要求。 2. 写作意图 作者通过介绍刷牙的 4 个步骤以及护牙的饮食要求,教给学生基本的护牙 知识,培养学生良好的生活习惯。学生在阅读中学习,从 learn to read 过渡 到 read to learn ,为学生的英语语言学习创设了真实的情境,达到培养学生 运用语言能力、自我学习能力以及发展思维能力的目的。 3. 文体结构 本文为说明文,主要的语言结构为:You should ; Brush the of your teeth.在每个步骤文字旁都配有一幅相应的图片,帮助学生理解文本内容。 二、教学设计思路二、教学设计思路 小学英语教学中创设一个以发展思维能力为目标的语言运用环境,能很 好的兼顾学生综合语言运用能力的训练和思维能力培养。本课作为阅读教学 课例,基于文本内容和学生的生活经验,利用阅读材料、视频材料及开放性 问题,为学生创设语言真实、语境真实、语义真实的语言运用环境,并利用 绘制思维导图等信息呈现形式,引导学生对所获取的信息进行对比、分析、 反思、归纳、解释等批判性思维活动,形成观点。教学过程中,学生用英语 在小组内讨论、师生互动交流、班级内展示,积极参与语言实践活动,真成为 学习的主人,使学生的主体地位得到充分的体现。学生在发展综合语言运用 能力的同时,批判性思维能力也得到了培养。 三、学情分析三、学情分析 本单元的教学对象是小五年级的学生,他们具备一定的英语基础和英语 学习能力。学生好奇心强,对英语具有浓厚的兴趣,愿意尝试阅读各种题材 的文本,学生的思维能力处于逐渐由形象思维转向抽象思维的阶段,具有初 步的逻辑思维能力和批判性思维能力,他们乐于合作,敢于表达,能积极地 投入到学习活动中。 四、教学目标四、教学目标 1. 语言能力目标 1)能在问题的引导下,讨论牙齿的重要性; 2)能在图片、视频及老师的帮助下,理解短文中刷牙的步骤及护牙 的基本方法; 3)能通过观察图片及联系文本,理解生词的含义; 4)能用所学语言与同伴讨论,运用思维导图归纳总结护齿的方法; 5)能运用”We should ” 等相关句型,介绍护齿洁齿的方法。 2. 学习能力目标 1)能根据图片理解词义; 2)能运用 phonics 拼读法拼读生词; 3)能积极与同伴合作,共同完成思维导图的绘制任务; 4)能保持持续学习英语的动力和热情。 3. 情感态度价值目标 通过阅读,帮助学生更好地了解健康的护齿知识。 通过阅读和讨论,培养学生健康生活,积极向上的品质。 4. 思维品质目标 能通过阅读、讨论、质疑、反思及绘制思维导图等方式,培养学生分 析、对比、推断、归纳等批判性思维能力,以及创造力和想象力。 五、教学重点五、教学重点 能够读懂并理解文本的大意; 能够阐述正确的护齿方法; 能够围绕文本进行预测、对比、分析、反思、推断、归纳、解释等批判 性思维活动。 六、教学难点六、教学难点 理解文中出现的生词,如: steps, biting part 七、教学策略七、教学策略 1. 教学法的使用 1)采用小组合作学习、多媒体辅助等进行教学; 2)通过教师的讲解配合肢体语言、小组活动,问答等形式帮助学生 理解并有效运用语言。 2. 教学媒体及辅助手段:电脑、投影仪、PPT、图卡、视频 通过多媒体、图片、视频等创设生动自然的语言情景,学生能从多个媒 介接受信息,使课堂教学效果达到最优化。 八、教学用具八、教学用具 Text book,worksheets,PPT, video,牙齿模型 九、教学过程九、教学过程 Stage 1 Warming-up and Leading-in T: Good morning, boys and girls. Today we continue to learn Unit 6 Good Habits. We are going to talk about our teeth. What do you know about our teeth? How can the teeth help us? S:We eat with our teeth. We can speak clearly. We look better. Stage 2 Pre-reading T: So our teeth are very important. We need to keep our teeth healthy. But how? What do you do to have good teeth? S: I brush my teeth every day. 【设计意图设计意图】通过问题引导,激活学生已有的生活经验和知识,为后续阅 读做铺垫。 Stage 3 While-reading 1. Read for the 1st time. T: Yes, we need to brush our teeth every day. How to brush our teeth? Here are some suggestions. Lets read to find out 学生阅读后,教师提出问题,检查学生理解的情况。 T: How often should we brush our teeth? T: How should we brush our teeth? 板书刷牙的步骤,并借用牙齿模型解释 inside, outside, biting part 的含义, 小结步骤并解释 step 的含义。 2. Read for the 2nd time. T: What else should we do? Lets read the passage again. T: What should we eat? What shouldnt we eat? S: We should eat lots of vegetables and fruits. We shouldnt eat too much chocolate or candies. 3. Read for the 3rd time. T: Lets read the passage together. 【设计意图】通过问题检测学生对文本的理解情况,并引领学生逐渐熟悉文 本,进而深度解读文本内容。 Stage 4 Post-reading 1. Retell the passage. T: So if we want to have healthy teeth. T: So which is the right way to brush our teeth? And what else should we do? Group work T: After reading two passages and watching a video, what would you do to have health teeth? (Choose two or three students to answer the question. Then have them discuss in groups of four.) Share what you have learned with your parents. 【设计意图】通过课后作业使学习活动进一步延伸,进一步内化语言,提升 学生综合语言运用能力,发展学生的思维和创作力。 十、教学评价十、教学评价 义务教育英语课程标准 (2011 版)指出,评价应起到监控教学过程、 反馈教学信息、激励学生学习、改进教学的作用,并尽量做到评价主体多元 化、评价方式多样化。本课教学评价遵循激励性、参与性原则,采取教师评 价与学生评价相结合的方式。 1. 教师通过肢体语言、口头激励等方式激励和评价学生,口头激励如: Good! Very good! Well done! Good idea ! Thats interesting! Youve done a very good job! And yes, they help you look your best. So Lets Have Healthy Teeth & a Smile By Following These Steps: 1. Brush your teeth in the right way(方式). We should brush for 2 minutes every morning and every night before bed. We should use a toothbrush with soft bristles(软鬃毛) and fluoride toothpaste(含氟牙膏). Brush the inside, outside, and the biting part of each tooth in little circles gently(和缓 地).Remember to give your tongue(舌头) a good rub, too. At last, rinse your mouth(漱口). 2. Floss your teeth once a day. 30%(percent) of the tooth surface(表面) is between the teeth. Flossing can help remove food and plaque(牙菌斑) from between the teeth. 3. Eat the right food. Eating healthy food is the best way to keep your body and teeth in good shape. If you are hungry and want a snack, try food like fruit, raw vegetables and low-fat cheese and milk. Stay away from sugary soda and candy. 4. Visit your dentist! Its also important to visit the dentist twice a year. The dentist will check(检查) your teeth, and help you clean your teeth. 5. Drink! Drink lots of water. Water is good for health and it can also rinse the mouth(漱口).
