Able to read and understand the meaning of the dialog. 2. Able to read the sentence fluently and do the exercise correctly. 二、教学重难点： 1. Understand the words or phrases: a SeniorsCenter, tell stories, lots of fun, interesting, dont worry, have fun, below, hope. 2. Read out the sentences fluently and do the exercise correctly. 三、教学过程： I Warming-up 1. Ss recite Target together. 2. Ask individual Ss to recite again. II “Learning before teaching”A 1. T: Look at Page12. Lets listen and think about the answers: a. Where are the students going? b. What are they going to do ? c. What is Xiaoming doing in the Seniors Center? 2. Play the disc and have Ss follow by looking at the page and underline the mispronounced or unreadable words, like “a Seniors Center” “tell stories” and so on. 3. Ss read the sentences quickly and try to get the general. III “Learning before teaching”B 1. Play the disc again, pausing after each sentence to have Ss repeat. 2. Ss try to read out the sentences and understand the meaning of them. Then check in groups. 3. T help Ss correct their pronunciation and intonation. IV “Learning before teaching”C 1. Ss read out the sentences in groups, then try to find out the answers of the questions. 2. Ask individual Ss to answer the three questions. V Practice(Page 13) 1. Exercise 3: Look and match. 2.
