Unit 11 He can play the guitar 一、教学目标: 1.能听说读写单词:make model planes, play the guitar, draw pictures, play chess, super 能正确熟练的应用到对话中。 2.能听懂,对读,会说核心语言 HeShe can 3.主动参加课外活动,丰富课余生活。 二、 教学重难点: 教学重点:掌握并正确运用本节课短语和句子 He/She can 教学难点: 根据图片信息运用 HeShe can 来描述某人能做某事。 三、学情分析:四年级学生,活泼好动,对游戏,竞赛比较感兴趣,四年级学 生在英语学习中还处于基础较短,这一阶段主要以激发和培养学生对英语学习 的兴趣为主。因此,在设计课堂教学活动时,根据学生的情况,多设计一些灵 活多样的教学方法,来吸引学生的注意,女里创设轻松愉悦的学习气氛。 四、教学流程 一、 Warm up 1、Greeting T : Hello! Boys and girls Ss : Hello! Miss Xu T: Nice to meet you! Ss: Nice to meet you, too! 2、Lets sing an English song (设计意图:律动和歌曲调动学生的参与热情,活跃课堂气氛 ) 二、 Presentation 1. T: Today, We have a new friend, Can you guess, Who is he? Ss: T: Lets have a look, Yes, He is Jay Chou. I like him very much. Do you know why? Now, lets look at the chant. (设计意图:通过学生对飞机模型半成品的制作,激发学生的学习兴趣,理 解新词组 make model planes) 4. Show a photo of a robot。Listen to the tape and answer this question. T: What can she do ? Ss: She can play chess. Make sentence with your partner. He can _,He is _. (设计意图:听音回答问题的目的让学生带着任务去听,自主学习新词,从 抽象思维到形象思维,进一步加深理解,并运用。) 5. T: JAY has a question: Who is super in our class,children? Let s listen to the tape and then answer this question. Ss: T: Why is Billy super? (设计意图:创设情境,通过听音学生整体感知课文。从而培养学生的专注力和 自主学习能力。) 6.Make sentence with your partner. A: who is super in our class? B: _! A why? B: HeShe can _ (设计意图:带着任务读对话,帮助学生理解与掌握核心语言。) 7.Open your book, listen to the tape and follow it. Read the dialogue with your partner. 三、 Practice Travel Frog。 青蛙站在荷叶中间,青蛙跳到哪个荷叶上,学生就读哪个词组。 (设计意图:通过简单的小游戏调动学生学习热情的同时,巩固本节课的短语。) 四、 Production 1. Make sentence A: Who is super in your family? B: _.HeShe can_. (设计意图:通过家庭照片和学过的短语,利用身边的资源引导学生巩固新词汇, 既贴近生活,又简单有效。) 2.Finish Game time (设计意图:得分这种小游戏一直都是学生喜欢的,通过游戏既有助于巩固核心 词汇,又有助于吸引学生的注意力和激发他们的参与兴趣,使学生在玩中学, 学中乐。) 3. Lets chant. 五、 Summary 1.
