6、ike to thank all the people who participate in my investigation and those who give me help during my thesis writing. 摘 要 著名的教育家托尔斯泰曾经说过:“成功的教学所需要的不是强制,而是激发学生的兴趣。”兴趣是学习的动力,如何培养学生的学习兴趣对于学习英语是非常重要的,它贯穿于整个英语学习过程的始终。一旦学生的兴趣被激发,他们会积极主动地学习英语,学生的学习主动性和热情也将被激发。新课程改革的重点旨在激发和培养学学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的
7、学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神;使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合语言运用能力。在初中英语教学过程中,教师应该努力地激发学生学习英语的积极性和主动性,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。 本课题以兴趣和动机理论为指导,发放学生和教师问卷调查、并结合个别学生和教师的访谈、课堂观察等方法对培养学生兴趣的方法进行了调查,旨在研究:(1)在英语教学中,老师经常采取哪些方法来培养学生的学习兴趣?(2)初中生经常采取哪些方法来激活并保持自己的英语学习兴趣? 通过调查研究,本论文研究数据显示:第一,良好和谐的师生关系是学生兴趣的最初来源。第二,帮助学生建立英语学习自信心使学生享受英
8、语学习。第三,娴熟且灵活多样的教学技巧往往可以使学生不由自主的去学习英语。第四,新颖和多样化的游戏和活动,及有趣的英文资源可以维持学生的英语学习兴趣。 本文主要有五部分组成。第一部分,主要从初中英语学科的性质和地位及研究背景和研究意义等方面进行阐述。第二部分,主要阐述了国内外学习兴趣研究现状、动机和兴趣理论对英语学习兴趣的相关方面进行了阐述,指出兴趣对英语学习和英语教学的重要作用。第三部分,研究设计,采用了课堂观察法,问卷调查法和访谈法。第四部分,分别对教师问卷和学生问卷、教师访谈和学生访谈、课堂观察进行统计及分析,得出学生的英语学习兴趣现状、对老师的兴趣培养的看法、以及学生自己是如何来培养和
9、维持自己的英语学习兴趣的。从师生关系、学生自信心、教学过程的设计等方面来探讨如何提高初中生英语学习兴趣,试图帮学生和老师找到一种能有效解决这一问题的途径。第五部分,本研究得出的结论。 关键词:初中英语, 学习兴趣, 培养 ABSTRACTThe famous educator said that successful teaching is not to force the students to learn but to motivate their interest. So we can conclude that interest will drive the students to l
10、earn, but how to cultivate the students interest plays a very important role during the English learning process. Once the junior high school students interest is aroused, it is a great help to the students, they will actively learn English and the students learning enthusiasm and initiative will be

With the development of the New English Curriculum Standard, it mainly aims at motivating and developing the students learning interest, building up the students learning confidence, cultivating the excellent learning habit and effective learning strategies, developing the students abili
12、ty of self-motivated learning and cooperative learning, acquiring the English basic skills, which is, listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. In junior high school English teaching process, teachers should try their best to motivate the students English learning enthusiasm and initiative an

Under the guidance of interest and motivation theory, the author gets down to investigating the methods to cultivating the students learning interest. Teachers questionnaires and students questionnaires are handed down, combined with individual stu

Because the students have to accept the endless exams and follow the teachers to recite so many words, phrases, dialogues and grammatical rules,

The students purpose of learning English is to recite the boring English words, phrases and grammatical rules and get high marks in the different kinds of exams, hence, more and more students are not interested in English. Once the students
24、 lose interest, the students will fail in English learning. It is said by Einstein,“Learning interest is the best teacher.”According to the psychological experiment, when the people are interested in something, they will do it actively and initiatively. When the people do the things that they are in
25、terested in, they will express above eighty percent, otherwise they will express below twenty percent. The experiment shows that interest plays a crucial role in English learning (Chen Hong, 2006). What is interest? In my opinion, its something that can make you happy, joyful, excited, active and en
26、ergetic. Its something that can make you pay attention, its something that can make you successful. If the students learn with interest, they will be happy to learn, and enjoy learning. English learning interest plays an important role in English teaching and learning, if the students interest is ar
27、oused, the students will have the strong desire to learn. And language learning mainly depends on the English learning surroundings, as if our mother tongue learning depends on our surroundings.
