1、Teaching Plan Book8 Unit 5 Being Helpful 教学目标:教学目标: 1、 掌握新词:turn off the TV, turn on/off the light, clean up the room, take out the trash, put away the toys, hang up the clothes 2、复习与巩固:sweep the floor, wash the clothes, water the flowers 等词组。 3、 能够运用 What can you do for your mother?等句型并结合所学词汇进行交流。

2、4、通过本次课后,学生能了解父母的不易,并能认识到自己应该要为他们做力 所能及的事务,学生在思想上对母爱有深一步的认识,在生活中更爱父母。 教学重点:词汇教学重点:词汇turn off the TV, turn on/off the light, clean up the room, take out the trash, put away the toys, hang up the clothes 教学难点:教学难点:灵活运用新旧词组进行英语交流 教教学用具:学用具:CAI, word cards, picture cards, some paper and worksheet and so

3、 on. 教学过程:教学过程: Step 1: Warming up 1. Greetings 2. Talking about the giving tree T: Do you remember that tree? Who is the giving tree in your life? (设计意图:以之前的主题班会课讲到的“感恩树”进行引入, 唤起学生对父母爱的情感,为本节课的教学埋下伏笔。 ) 3. Watching a video “mother” (设计意图:通过观看视频母亲 ,让学生通过视觉和听觉感受父 母的辛苦,从而引出在家要为妈妈做力所能及的事情,要 “being help

4、ful”.) Step 2: Revision 1. Talking T: Do you love your mother? T: We love our mothers. Because they love us, they do lots of things for us. Can you tell me, what does your mother do at home? 2. Review the phrases they have learned before this class. E.g. sweep the floor, wash the dished (设计意图:复习旧知识,

5、新旧知识进行融合教学) Step 3: Presentation 1. Teach the new phrases T: Your mothers do a lot of housework at home. So what do you think of your mother? T: They are tired. Can you do some housework for your mother? T: Are you helpful at home? What does your room like? 2. Toms room (设计意图:从 Tom 的房间引出新词) T: I wan

6、t to go into Toms room. What should I do first? Ss: You should open the door first. T: Right. I should open the door first. (Write the word “open” on the board and have them read it together.) (设计意图:强调 open 一词,为后面学习 turn on 做好铺垫, 让学生更好地理解二者之间的区别。 ) 3. (Show them a picture of a dark room.)T: Oh, Its

7、dark. We cant see anything in the room. What can we do? (设计意图:房间很黑,引导学生“开灯” ,进而学习新词 turn on the light。 ) 4. T: We can turn on the light. 5. Teach the phrase “turn on the light” and show them how to turn on the light in the classroom. 6. (设计意图: 利用班级的灯讲授 turn on the light, 学生更加容易理 解接受。 ) 7. Compare “t

8、urn on”with “open”. (设计意图:让学生更好理解新词。 ) 8. Teach “ turn off the light” in the same way. 9. Tell the differences between “turn on the light” and “open the light”. 10. Teaching the rest of the new phrases: clean up the room, turn off the TV, turn on the TV, put away the clothes, put away the toys, put

9、away the books, take out the trash and hang up the clothes. 11. Read the phrases together. Step4: Consolidation 1. Read all the phrases on the board together. (设计意图:简单回顾,加深学生对新词的印象,为后面开展 活动做准备。 ) 2. Game 1: Housework Dice (1) Throw the dice and read the phrases. (设计意图:巩固家务类别的词语。 ) (2)Throw the dice

10、and have a talk with the picture. (设计意图:运用 dice 上的图片进行对话训练。 ) 3. Game 2: Help the mother flog S1 asks S2 a question with the information on the card. (S1 picks up one of the cards on the desk.) If S2 can answer the question correctly, he can get one bridge. And then, its S2s turn to pick up a card a

11、nd ask S1 question. Who can help mother flog, who is the winner. (设计意图: 在游戏中开展对话训练, 提高学生的学习积极性。 ) Step5: Development: Make a card for Mothers Day (设计意图:写作训练和情感教育,教育学生学会感恩。 ) Step6: Summary Read the new phrases and sentences on the board. (设计意图:回顾本课所学知识,加深印象。 ) Step 7: Homework: Survey Name Housework
